Troy Lumber Company is currently operating under permit 02330T12. This permit is set to expire on February 26, 2006. Per the requirements of the permit, an application for renewal was due by May 31, 2005. This application completes that requirement. The permit is deemed complete for processing.
Under the provisions of NCGS 143-215.108, the Permittee shall demonstrate compliance with the emission limit above by testing the boiler (ID No. ES-B1) for particulate matter with a testing protocol approved by the DAQ. Details of the emissions testing and reporting requirements can be found in Section 3 – General Condition JJ. Testing shall be completed and the results submitted by February 21, 2007, unless an alternative date is approved by the DAQ. If the results of this test are above the limit given in Section 2.1 A.1.a above, the Permittee shall be deemed in noncompliance with 15A NCAC 2D .0504.
